LINKUP is a transition program designed to provide support to our rising sixth graders as they enter middle school. Each student is assigned a mentor who is a seventh grade student. These mentors meet their assinged students at our spring orientation activities as fifth graders, continue to contact them through the summer, reaquaint at the fall picnic and continue to communicate by phone, mail, email, or direct contact throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to offer help and assistance by answering questions, tutoring, and building relationships that make our sixth grade students feel secure and successful.
